Hello
Thank you for that encouraging word on your website. I have been saying no to my dreams for years after the murder of my son. I finally said yes and I will continue to yes. I am on a mission of healing and I continue to pray that God will direct my path.

Thanks

Hello Dr. Niama
I am a new local author of " A Silent Scream" join me on my journey as I heal after the violent murder of my son.

My name is Patricia Yarbrough; my son was violently murdered shot not once, not twice but three times as the murderers ran with the only thing that could have kept him warm his coat. The murderers ran and left my child laying on a cold pavement bleeding to death. I often wondered did Kenny call out oh! Momma as he ran holding his chest from the bullet that pierced his lung, only to collapsed into the arms of a stranger. He was able to run even after being shot three times. I think he was afraid, he was going to die alone. The thought of him falling into the arms of a stranger makes my heart breaks and tears flow from my eyes and scream silently every time I think about it. I learned of this stranger the day of the trial. To hear this man tell how my child dived through his car window, while he sat with the window rolled down talking on his cell phone and landed in his lap. He gently opens the car door and laid my mortally wounded son on the ground, until paramedics arrived. I thank God for this stranger. In the courtroom after his testimony I hugged him knowing that my baby was not alone as he lay drowning in his own blood.

He was nineteen in age but was my baby in my heart. He loved his mother more than anyone in the world. I know he knew and everyone knew him knew how much we love each other.

I have written a book titled “A Silent Scream” that’s what I did for eighteen years. I want each and every one of you to share my screams, hear my screams, and be blessed by my screams. If I didn't scream silently, there would be no way I could tell you that your screams are not silent, I hear them. I want you to know that you too can survive after the death of a child. There is light and the end of the tunnel. I didn't think I would ever see the light or could have survived after the death of my child, but I did and I want you to be a survivor after the death of your child. I Thank God for giving me a second chance.

Please purchase your copy today and walk with me as I heal through my journey after the death of my son, my best friend Kenny.
Give "A Silent Scream" to a friend.
